I wish I could be in US, since Apple still puts a lock on iPhone with AT&T carrier. It's some kind of pain about I can't use that phone in Thailand when it first came available.
My hope was got up when unlock software first became available last two or three weeks. I think I would come and get one from US, unlock it, then use it in Thailand. I was so excited, since I don't have to wait until next year to use it.
Well, seems out that party didn't last that long. Apple posted a firmware update with version 1.1.1. That firmware update kills homebrew apps and so the unlocking software. So, apparently nobody can use the phone with another carrier except AT&T for the time being.
Come on guys, get another unlocking software available. I want to play with this kid real bad!
